Communications Coordinator – Mississippi Hospital Association
The Mississippi Hospital Association is currently hiring a Communications Coordinator.
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of communications for MHA and its subsidiary companies. Provides strong writing, editing and production oversight for communication projects, as well as any project or task assigned by the VP of Education & Public Relations. Oversees new content development for and maintenance of the MHA web site and social media channels. Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Public Relations Department.
This position requires the ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing. Must also have expertise in email marketing programs, basic graphic design skills (Photoshop preferred), basic database skills, desktop publishing software, and Power Point design.
A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English or related field with a minimum of two years of experience is required. Applicant should also have excellent communications, research, and organization skills.
This position will report to the VP of Education and Public Relations.
